Description
"Driving Miss Daisy" byAlfred Uhry
Alfred Uhry’s Pulitzer-prize winning play opens in segregated Atlanta in 1948. After driving through her neighbor's shed, the 72-year old rich, sharp-tongued and sometimes cantankerous Daisy Wertham is informed by her son Boolie that henceforth she must rely on the services of a chauffeur. Stubborn and unhelpful when assigned a driver, Miss Daisy embarks on an unlikely 25-year friendship with Hoke Colburn, her chauffeur.
